Submit a Paper
JIE welcomes practical and research manuscripts that focus on educational issues, provide a clear purpose and depth of discussion, and are presented in a straightforward style accessible to an international audience.
Manuscripts are accepted all year round. The journal is published online once a year in October 30th both online and in print. Papers to be included in the publication should be submitted by August 30th of each year.
Papers should be submitted to the JIE submission link in the website (here), with a covering email clearly stating the name, address and affiliation of the corresponding author. Paper submissions are accepted only in MS Word. Each paper will be provided with a paper ID for further reference.

Review Process
Submitted manuscripts will go through the following stages:
- Initial Screening: The journal editor conducts a preliminary review to assess whether the manuscript aligns with the journal's aims and scope, holds relevance for readers, and adheres to the Author Guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria will be rejected, and the authors will be notified accordingly.
- Assignment to Reviewers: If the manuscript passes the initial screening, the editor assigns it to three expert reviewers. These reviewers should have a strong track record of high-quality evaluations and be willing to undertake the review process.
- Peer Review: The review process typically takes 3–4 weeks. Reviewers provide detailed and constructive feedback, which is submitted to the journal editor.
- Editorial Decision: The editorial board evaluates the reviewers' feedback and makes the final decision regarding acceptance for publication. Authors will be notified of the outcome.

This decision means that the paper requires minor changes for it to be accepted. - • Accept with major revisions
A manuscript needs to be substantially improved before it can be accepted. The author has to submit the revised manuscript along with a point-by-point response to the reviewer comments. - • Reject
This is an outright rejection decision, and in most cases, the journal will not publish the paper or reconsider it even if the author makes major revisions.
